1/2 cup Black Walnuts
1/2 cup cocoa
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
2 cups chilled whipping cream
1 Tbsp. butter
2/3 cup water
2 tsp. vanilla
In a small skillet, over medium heat, saute Black Walnuts in butter for 2 minutes. Allow to cool. In small saucepan, combine cocoa and water, bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly; remove from heat and stir in sweetened condensed milk and vanilla. Pour into square 9x9x2-inch pan, freeze until mushy. In large mixer bowl, beat cream, and blend in Black Walnuts. Return to square pan, cover, and return to freezer. Stir frequently during the first hour until firm. Makes about 1 1/2 quarts.
